Yesterday was a day of great news indeed :-) A glorious day that will echo in the chambers of time and will tingle anyone that may gaze unwittingly upon 18.07.07 on their calendar in years to come.
Two things were brought to my attention that caused me tidings of great joy, resulting in the semi-ridiculous writings you see before you now. So what are they… please read on…
Firstly – A few months ago, I announced that Markus has decided to go into rehab (See here). Well, it’s finally happening :-)
He has been going to regular meetings/counselling sessions in preparation for going into the rehab centre. Initially they told him that it will be around 6-8 weeks before he’ll actually be able to enter the clinic, since people need to be discharged before new people can be let in. Well, it’s taken a little longer than expected and he is now due to enter initial ‘detox’ clinic at the beginning of August. The detox will last about two weeks, after which point he’ll be moved to the ‘rehabilitation clinic’, where he’ll remain for several months. The first few months will be the most difficult for me, as we won’t be able to visit him.
I’ve know a couple of people that have gone to that clinic, and while there has been mixed success, I think Markus is committed enough to see this thing through. The clinic is one of the top 10 most successful clinics in the world.
Secondly - don_preacher is coming to Perth in September. Aren’t like his previous visit, he’ll actually be staying for a semi-decent amount of time. Almost two weeks of preacherness – jolly wonderful indeed. I’m rather looking forward to 4 player Mario Party, with don_preacher,haze, Matty and I.
….Just 6 weeks until the RAGE!
I must work now, though will leave you with the following gospel -
jazzy funky pounce bounce dance as we
Dip in the melodic
sea, the rhythm keeps flowin, it drips to MC
Sweet sugar pop
sugar pop rocks it pops ya dont stop
Till the sweet
I show and prove
as a stick in move
Hear the poems
recited on top of the groove
floating like a butterfly
Notes start to
float, suttle like a lullabye
Brace yourself as
the beat hits ya
Dip trip, flip
Cheers to all
