aussiepoida - Possibly puzzeled

I live in the hood....

Hello there,

after a rather successful (at least for me) Mario-Party last night, haze and I decided to head off to The Moon for a little coffee. We got in the car, drove 30m around the corner of my house, and were met with a vehicle completely engulfed in flames, with several people desperately trying to distinguish it with garden hoses.

Strangely, all was quiet. I doubt I would have become aware of the action down the street, if I didn't actually stumble across it. I always assumed that when things like this are happen, half the street would be awake and watching - instead it was just unfolding quietly.

We contemplated stopping... but after careful consideration decided that there was simply nothing for us to do... we had no water, we had no firefighting experience... there was just nothing we could have added to the situation. We headed off, and heard the fire truck heading towards the site-of-interest. We continued on to the mood... but it was closed, so we went back home.

....that is all I have...

Cheers

Let me get to staight to the point -> Adrian's Spa

Hello there,

I must quickly express something - Adrian and Lina bought a spa a number of months ago for $8k.... Tracy has used it twice, I've used it 3 times. I've seen Adrian and Lina in it once...though I heard whispers that Lina might have used it twice already.

The spa was last used about 3 or 4 weeks ago by Lina and her friends.... the spa has been filthy and untouched since. I wonder how long it will be before it actually gets cleaned. The air of laziness in this house is fascinating, it truly is. I would not be surprised if the spa doesn't get used for another few months, just because someone needs to clean it before its usable again. I've already cleaned it for them once (and once after New Years), but I refuse to do it again. Tracy and I clean behind them enough already.

I guess I'm just frustrated - When the spa first arrived, Tracy and I were quite excited. Its a great spa and a lot of fun. I just find it difficult to comprehend how Adrian and Lina can just leave it sitting there and become derelict. They seem to have no pride in the spa, nor the rest of the house. I guess its just a matter of different personalities... but I cant accept it as being normal though.

I have bitched.

Cheers
